Mobile Equipment Mechanic/Driver who maintains and repairs construction equipment on-site.

Tasks

-We will train on hydraulic and pneumatic machine repair and maintenance. -Performs all work in compliance with industry standards, company safety policies and procedures as outlined in Field Guide to Better Safety. Exhibits a Safety 24/7 attitude in all situations. -Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when & what kind of maintenance is needed. -Continually evaluates the status of equipment and communicates these issues to the Resource Manager. -Assisting with warehouse operations as necessary when not on the road to include but limited to making deliveries and other tasks as needed. -This person is responsible for maintenance and repair of all construction equipment, tools & vehicles. -Continual evaluation of construction equipment for required repairs; communicating issues to management; and maintenance and minor repairs of all construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. -Traveling to job sites to inspect, evaluate, service and make minor repairs in the field of construction equipment and fleet vehicle.

What You Bring

-Ideally, candidate will have their own set of tools. Specialty tools provided. -Administrative work relating to paperwork, tracking maintenance logs and other scheduling items. Minor Computer Skills. -Must be flexible with work hours in order to deal with urgent equipment failures or jobsite needs. Must have a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicles or drive for business purposes. -Experience with small engine repair, diesel and gasoline equipment service, fleet vehicle repair & maintenance preferred. Or a recent graduate from a diesel or automotive program. Willing to train a candidate with a strong mechanical background. -Must be able to travel to construction job sites to evaluate, inspect and make minor repairs to construction equipment -Day shift -Must possess the ability to troubleshoot & diagnose equipment. -Willingness and ability to obtain DOT license.
