-Produce/review suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments/Method Statements in compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulations and HSE Guidance -Manage all site works in liaison with Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Client’s satisfaction -Host and manage Weekly Progress meetings, Monthly Client and Monthly Internal meetings -Compile accurate costings and programme for all site works -Complete Site Audits and Site Visit Forms to assist in achieving MGE targets. -Manage and ensure asbestos removal and demolition works are undertaken in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Procedures and to the required health and safety standards -The role holder will be required to cover for work colleagues in times of absence -Participate in wider objectives of the company -Plan all labour, plant and materials to ensure safe working practices
-Ability to balance operational needs with best practice -Full Driving Licence -IT Literate – Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook and the use of remote meeting tools e.g. Skype -Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Contract Manager/ Demolition Project Manager) -Effective communicator, influencer & relationship builder. -Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Safety -The written communication skills to produce quotes and suitable and sufficient Method Statements -Commercial awareness to manage financial implications of projects and improve margin -Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary – amidst challenging demands on time
