Tasks

-Work as part of a team on large or complex client engagements on a portfolio of properties. -Input and audit sales comparable data, such as lease, expense, rent comps and sales transactions. -Assist in providing valuation reviews on real property using various methodologies including cost, income, and direct sales comparison approach. -Writing and updating of various analytic reports, i.e. Regional and Market analyses and Industry Overviews. -To develop property valuation knowledge and expertise and to become an Accredited Appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. -Support the efforts of others in the group to ensure exceptional service to our clients.

-Must be detail oriented. -Clarity – Strong communication skills both oral and written. -Problem solving - the ability to think logically and solve problems creatively. -Bachelor’s degree, preferable in business, urban studies or economics. -Commitment – Ability to set clear and deliverable goals. -Accountability - Possesses resilience, passion and a commitment to deliver and be accountable for results. -Flexibility – the ability to prioritize and work on several projects at once. -A valid driver’s license. -1-2 years of experience, ideally in real estate appraisal -Interpersonal abilities – an individual with a positive attitude who can relate to colleagues and clients. -Strong research, analytic and written skills are required.
