The Role

Overview

Build prefabricated studios/ADUs, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Tasks

-Remove unnecessary parts, tools, and processes that do not affect the quality of production practices. -Look upstream and downstream for passing good quality. -Execute to the production work team performance targets and metrics. -Ensure that you understand all procedural changes and instructions. -Frequently review the workflow to ensure that all obstacles are removed or minimized to optimize efficiency and work quality. -Manage compliance to all safety procedures and proper protective equipment usage. -Pull all workorders each day to prepare and plan work according to schedule set by Team Lead. -Complete the workorder and ensure it is accurate and complete prior to passing to the next production process/step. -Attend daily huddle meetings and update the team’s status board so your personal work is coordinated with the teams to meet the schedule. -Attend safety meetings and educational forums to be proactive to prevent safety incidents. -Communicate training needs, cross training, and growth opportunities to your Team Lead/Supervisor so the appropriate planning and resources will be made available. -Determine what work instructions are required to meet the quality and production cycle requirements for the job. -Ensure that daily production status, concerns, and issues are communicated directly to the appropriate person and role. -Ensure that the work cell and workorder have all the necessary parts and supplies prior to beginning the work. -Keep the work area organized, labeled, and “set” so all materials, parts, tools etc. can be accessed easily. -Maintain and improve the production process flows and processes to drive for zero quality issues and lead time reduction for production due dates.

What You Bring

-Collaboration: Works well in a team environment—supportive, approachable, and able to bring people together to get things done. -Experience: Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or similar field. Familiar with measuring, safety, cutting, nailing, and more -The ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. -Required to collaborate with coworkers, other work cells, shipping and receiving, engineering, order production processes, etc. -You must be comfortable on your feet all day
