Carpenter performs maintenance, repairs, and installations for Edmonton facilities.

Tasks

-Complete preventative maintenance tasks and keep accurate records. -Carry out general maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, painting, ceiling work, window/door installation, -Perform rough and finished carpentry work, including fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding, hardware, -Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to complete work accurately. -Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items -Repair and refinish furniture -Maintain positive client and tenant relations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service. -Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies, including occasional after-hours calls.

What You Bring

-Carpenter Journeyman certificate. -Minimum 4 years’ experience in facility operations or carpentry/maintenance. -Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. -Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment under pressure, and solve problems quickly. -Ability to read and apply technical plans. -Must own a full set of carpentry tools (e.g., belt sander, hammer drill, table saw, skill saw). -Physically fit: able to crouch, kneel, lift 25+ kg, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods.
