The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair facility machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment

Tasks

-Maintain and back up sorting computer software and parameters. -Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed. -Rig and install motors, conveyor pulleys, and other heavy machinery. -Complete daily maintenance logs and manage preventive maintenance programs. -Weld, fabricate, and patch steel components as needed. -Provide on-the-job training to new employees and serve as backup for other technicians. -Communicate equipment issues across shifts and support team efforts. -Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, loaders). -Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues and pneumatic valves.

What You Bring

-1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred -Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills -Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics preferred -High School Diploma or GED preferred -Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment -Glass processing knowledge is a plus -Strong time management and prioritization skills -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
