The Role

Overview

Lead planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects in NZ.

Tasks

-Coordinate contract and project management activities including subcontractor liaison and stakeholder communications. -Maintain currency with engineering standards, best practices and emerging technologies within the infrastructure sector. -Lead the planning, design and construction oversight of complex infrastructure projects from concept to delivery. -Monitor and manage project execution to ensure quality, schedule and budget targets are met. -Collect, analyse and interpret project data to support decision making and deliver client-driven outcomes. -Conduct engineering inspections, interpret drawings/specifications and recommend remedial works when required. -Mentor and support project teams, fostering innovation, process improvement and continuous learning.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable using engineering tools and software. -Excellent client-relationship capability, you build trusted partnerships and recognise opportunities to add value. -Demonstrated design experience across a broad range of infrastructure projects -Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively in multi-disciplinary environments. -Proven project delivery mindset – you thrive in delivering high quality, collaborative outcomes for clients and project teams alike. -A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline). -8–15 years of professional engineering experience, ideally working toward or holding CPEng certification.
