Tasks

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Stay updated on advancements in commercial transport technology and repair methods -Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other heavy vehicle components -Replace worn or faulty parts following manufacturer specifications and technical manuals -Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on concrete mixers and heavy truck equipment -Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues -Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout all maintenance and repair tasks -Collaborate with supervisors and equipment operators to identify issues and recommend preventive maintenance -Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, parts, and labor hours

What You Bring

-Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and work in varying weather conditions -Proficient with diagnostic tools and capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical issues -Strong knowledge of Cummins and Paccar engines, diesel systems, and heavy equipment components -Qualified to perform annual safety inspections (MPI) -Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems -Welding and hydraulic systems experience considered an asset -Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams -Must have own hand tools and toolbox -Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
