Overview

Operate excavators with various attachments, perform safety checks and minor repairs.

Tasks

-Operate two-way radios and other communication when required -Minor repairs to equipment. Report any necessary reports to the supervisor -Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks -Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and ensure equipment is running properly -Operate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures -Secure special attachments to equipment -Follow Secures’ operating standards and procedures

What You Bring

-Possession of a valid class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record -A minimum of 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations -Ability to Work variable shifts & hours -2 years equipment operation experience -Must be physically fit, heavy labour is required -Grade 12 or GED -Must have steel toe work boots; -One or more years experience operating equipment in industries such as civil earth works, pipelines, or Oil & Gas -Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation -Drug, Alcohol & Fitness Testing
