Assist service manager overseeing maintenance, repairs, and resident service.

Tasks
-Perform preventive maintenance and safeguard equipment with regular tune-up. -Conduct daily community walks, inspecting all areas for cleanliness and safety, and helping to maintain great curb appeal. -Respond to service tickets swiftly, document and communicate service status consistently, and effectively prioritize service requests. -Ensure that policies, procedures, safety, and compliance expectations are met. -Step in and step up when the Service Manager is not present or available. -Know the make-ready schedule, monitor apartment vacancies daily and initiate the turnover process in accordance with Company standards. -Build trust and positive rapport with residents by being respectful and empathetic while making repairs in their homes. -Deliver timely, clear and courteous customer service 100% of the time. -Coach, mentor, support and provide constructive feedback to service team members. -Champions commitment to a culture of belonging through diversity, equity, inclusion & accessibility initiatives. -Ensure staff always operates within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies. -Proactively care for the physical building and the community by maintaining the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance systems. -Collaborate with the leasing and customer experience team by cordially and consistently escalating urgent maintenance related matters and communicating all other community concerns.

What You Bring
-Has reliable personal transportation. -Well versed in all phases of HVAC and mechanical systems. -Knowledge of preventive maintenance and life safety systems. -Universal EPA/CFC or CAMT Certification. -Has a proven work history of delivering responsible, high-quality maintenance services in the residential apartment industry or similar industry. -Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word) required, as well as previous experience with industry specific management software, such as Yardi. -Demonstrates resilience and commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results. -Is able to be on call, work outside of standard business hours, and report to the property in 30 minutes or less in the event of life safety incidents.
