Tasks

-Manage client relationships and project execution. -Prepare or support preparation of proposals, test protocols and reports. -Manage, lead teams, and conduct air quality stack testing at client locations across the western US. -Perform maintenance on existing testing and laboratory equipment to be in compliance with the applicable regulatory and ERM standards. -Perform system and quality checks to troubleshoot issues. -Data analysis and interpretation -Manage project financial performance, including invoicing. -Mentor Junior staff on conducting source testing, instrument maintenance following regulatory and ERM best practices. -Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, ERM employees, and subcontractors.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to perform physical labor necessary for stack testing and routinely lift 50 pounds. -Master’s degree in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree. -QSTI source tester certifications, or the ability to pass the exams upon hiring. -Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. -Situationally, willing to work weekends and extended hours (more than 8 per day and 40 hours per week). -Ability to use, repair, and maintain air quality equipment and tools. -Associates or Bachelor of Science in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree. -Willing to travel up to 70 percent of the time. For some locations listed in the opening, travel would be greatly reduced. -Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension. -Successfully complete all required annual safety training. -Ability to climb ladders and platforms safely that are elevated multiple stories above ground. -Knowledge of current laboratory testing procedures and standards. -Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) certification. -Demonstrated experience in air quality testing with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferred 5-10 years’ experience of direct leading successful source testing teams and projects.
