The Role

Overview

Provide technical support, training, and inspections for signalling systems.

Tasks

-Maintaining all records and associated documentation. -Conducting workplace coaching, training and assessment. -Testing, commissioning and maintaining signalling equipment. -Investigating and reporting on signalling systems. -Progressing the implementation and application of quality principles and practices. -Work a 4-day week (9.5-hour days) with some travel required -Conducting technical inspections and audits. -Providing technical support to Network staff.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of signalling systems and equipment, including relevant maintenance standards and safe working principles. -Rail specific tools, uniform, PPE and shared work vehicle supplied -Experience with maintenance, fault rectification, and installation of signalling systems and equipment. -Ability to identify equipment performance irregularities, investigate recurring faults, and recommend improvements.

Benefits

-Base salary of $113,602 + penalties + overtime + 12.75% super -Paid training and ongoing support to develop your skills and experience (e.g. support to complete your Cert IV in Training and Assessment if not already held)
