IT Service Desk Intern

Overview

Assist IT team with hardware/software support, ticketing, and troubleshooting.

Tasks

-Maintain excellent records of work completed -Field incoming support requests (phone and tickets) -Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support -Perform tests validating resolutions provided -Engage all tickets assigned within internal SLAs -Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications -Manage, execute, and document project work -Escalate advanced issues to appropriate support team -Triage and resolve support requests as necessary

What You Bring

-Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study, and must still be in pursuit of the degree during the summer of 2025 -Critical thinking and problem-solving skills -Ability to work effectively in a team environment -Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word -This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. -Must have interest in customer-focused work, supporting the IT Service Desk -Local to the Kansas City Metro Area -Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Prior completion of 2-3 years of a relevant undergraduate degree program is preferred -Ability to multitask -Displays excellent customer service skills
