Overview

Design electrical systems (lighting, power, communications, fire alarm) using Revit

Tasks

-Coordinates with clients, teaming partners, and other disciplines. -Produces documentation for issue to client for projects of all size primarily in Revit -Asks appropriate questions to determine scope of project work -Participates in conferences with clients to establish project objectives and resolve problems. -Prepares design computations and quantity estimates using various software packages -Completes tasks in the areas of lighting, power, communications, fire alarm, and utility system design -Applies standard engineering procedures and techniques to complete well defined design -Performs routine manual calculations regarding lighting layouts, power distribution, and other related electrical systems -Works independently in developing preliminary and finished designs by analyzing reports, maps, specifications, and drawings related to the project

What You Bring

-Proficient in REVIT -Capable of checking and approving shop drawings -Must demonstrate strong ethical behavior while striving to produce quality work within project budgets and schedules -Education & Experience Qualifications:Two-year degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Drafting or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience in design and drafting or other relevant combination of education and / or experience -Familiar with fundamental electrical design
