The Role
Overview
Prepare cost estimates for renewable energy proposals, support bids and documentation.

Tasks
-Interpret technical drawings, analyse plans, specifications, drawings and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates covering all aspects of a proposal / project, factoring in HSE and compliance requirements, risk contingencies and all other relevant aspects -Develop and maintain cost databases and estimation tools -Maintain records of estimates and revisions for audit and reference purposes -Track submission dates and undertake submissions -Prepare high-level project / opportunity budgeting where required -Identify labour, material, and time requirements for projects -Attend tender, EOI and BAFO briefings -Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability -Ensure cost estimates comply with client requirements and company policies and procedures -Provide feedback and recommendations for improving future estimates

What You Bring
-Experience or exposure in renewable projects -Electrical Engineer certification or Electrical Trade certification – desirable -Solid experience in completing and submitting tenders ideally in the electrical sector -Power Station, PV and/or BESS installation experience - desirable -Proficiency in MS Office -Experience in renewable projects -Knowledge of electrical regulations -Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
