  • Troubleshooting security, application, and network problems
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization
  • Working with external business partners to facilitate cybersecurity assessments, audits, and documentation reviews
  • Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
  • Create and update documentation on all areas of expertise
  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
  • Testing and identifying network, application, and system vulnerabilities
  • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches and incidents
  • Participating in the change management process
  • Creation and audit of cybersecurity policies, procedures, baselines, and standards

  • Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Servers & Applications, Office 365 Security, and Endpoint Security
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; or comparable work experience. High school diploma minimally required.
  • Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, Identity Management services, and network monitoring solutions
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and enhance security and networking technologies for both simple and complex networks
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects/work streams, set priorities, and exercise judgment
  • 5+ years of risk assessment, policy creation, and threat classification frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate in all situations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in a SOC is a plus
  • 5+ years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics
  • Security and/or network certification(s) are a plus
  • 5+ years architecting and implementing enterprise security architecture, management, and support
  • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
  • 5+ years of work experience with security standards, protocols, and technologies
  • Experience with implementing zero-trust solutions at enterprise scale and hardening solutions
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Penetration Testing, Red and Blue teaming experience is a plus
