The Role

Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot solar inverters and related equipment at the Solidago solar site.

Tasks

-Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding -Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings

What You Bring

-Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant -Minimum High School Diploma/GED or a diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/DC current, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors -You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site. -Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Manufacturing or Mining operations, Controls & Industrial Maintenance, Balance of Plant or Substation -Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages -Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies -This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s) -Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

-The position consists of 30% work indoors and 70% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions
