The Role

Overview

Assist BM in ops, sales, warehouse, team leadership, customer service

Tasks

-Receive and process orders from customer and representatives for shipment from designated manufacturing plants -Conduct quality assurance checks with customers to ensure customer satisfaction -Captures & compiles data relating to branch operations and participates in projects as assigned. -Develop and execute efficient fleet management. -Lead onboarding and training of new hires. -Participates and/or leads improvement efforts/projects as assigned. -Train, coach and develop employees -Actively ensure warehouse and showroom are fully stocked, clean and presentable at all times -Provide feedback on performance as required. -Lead by example to provide new and current customers with product information including pricing, delivery, inventory and /or backorder availability -Delegate sales and operations duties to ensure effective work flow and accountability for branch goals and work performance. -Will manage to documented Work Instructions provided by the organization -Assist Branch Manager in leadership duties for all branch employees including team management and supervision -Foster a culture where quality customer service in a competitive environment requiring teamwork, efficiency, cross training, and a willingness to continually improve. -Work with Branch Manager to ensure standard operating procedures of the company are followed and maintain high standards for quality, service, and integrity -Back up Branch Manager duties including employee relations, timekeeping, inventory control, asset protection and administrative duties. -Assist Branch Manager proactively fill open positions; review resumes and interview potential candidates. -Ensure branch safety guidelines are adhered to at all times. -Actively motivate team and lead by example to provide excellent customer service at all times. -Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks

What You Bring

-Must have successfully completed the AMP program. -College degree strongly preferred. -Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Includes lifting, standing, walking, working at desk and customer service counter -Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Work is closely supervised -High School diploma or GED equivalent. -Experience with training methods -Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office -Works within well-defined instructions -Fundamental finance and accounting skills as they pertain to branch operations -Face to face interaction with customers, with the ability to complete transactions using Mincron. -Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and policy enforcement -Ability to safely operate all machinery within the branch including forklifts, etc
