Administer and support Hexagon SmartPlant PID for EPC projects, providing training and integration.

Tasks

-Perform Application administration activities for EPC projects -Optimize project delivery through its lifecycle, provide system support for implementation, deployment, set-up, configuration and training for SPID on all projects. Assist with input to the application standard build development and maintenance, application security, documentation, reporting, systems integrations, automation and participate in new release testing and rollout. -Work closely with customer to assist with SPPID/SPEL/SPI Admin Services and Production Drafting Services -Environment setup – Site creation, PBS creation, Security setup etc. (Engineering Manager) -Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up to date on industry news -Developing and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients -Publish / retrieve drawings/documents. -Setting up SPID in Citrix (Thin client environment) -Assist customers with solution Architecture review, integration design of EDM with other Systems

What You Bring

-Understanding of programming language like VB .NET -Strong understanding of fundamentals of industry best practices in managing SPI/SPEL/SPPID Engineering. -Automation using .NET programming using available API’s -Strong understanding of fundamentals of process discipline engineering required for SPID deliverables creation. -8+Year of working experience in use and administration of Hexagon’s SmartPlant PID application -Understanding of integration aspects with SPF – Responsible for successful -Good Communication Skills (Verbal/Written), Interaction with Customers -Understanding of integration requirement for integrating with SPF -Workshare Functionality -Basic Knowledge of SPEL/SPI applications. Aveva PID is an added advantage -Proficiency in following administration activities is must -Able to provide SPID User and Admin training -Understanding of DB concepts with SQL /PL SQL knowledge
