Tasks

-Evaluate alternative design solutions and contribute to critical decision-making. -Oversee development of construction plans, specifications, estimates and detailed engineering calculations. -Overall management of transportation infrastructure improvement projects of varying complexity across Georgia. -As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the planning, design, and execution of roadway improvement projects for state, county, and municipal clients across Georgia. Your portfolio may include:New location corridorsRoadway wideningBicycle and pedestrian facilitiesHighway safety enhancementsIntersections and interchangesDesign-build projects. -Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to meet project goals and deadlines. -Conduct engineering investigations and feasibility analyses using collected data. -You’ll guide projects through all phases—from advanced planning to final design and construction support—while collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality, on-budget solutions.Key Responsibilities -Provide professional engineering design services for transportation improvement projects. -Direct and mentor design support staff, fostering technical growth and alignment.

What You Bring

-10-15+ years of roadway design experience, GDOT experience preferred. -Georgia PE license. -Management acumen including budgeting, scheduling, job tracking, client interaction and staff management. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. -Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, partners and your team members. -Strong knowledge of AASHTO and State DOT design standards.
