  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers and other disciplines for equipment power needs and sizing electrical distribution
  • Project and client management, overseeing of electrical design execution
  • Work with department manager(s) for planning and managing the design process to the available hours in the work plan
  • Perform analysis, design and documentation of power distribution, microgrids, and backup power systems
  • Perform electrical design calculations for electrical loads and panel schedules
  • Supervise and train staff, and when necessary, self-perform the following:

  • The ideal candidate would have experience working in higher education, healthcare, data centers, water/wastewater, advanced manufactoring and power generation markets.
  • Working knowledge of power system modeling using SKM Power Tools, ETAP or similar modeling software
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in TX
  • Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently
  • Knowledge working on High Voltage and Medium Voltage substations and distribution systems
  • Protection and control, SCADA or power system automation experience
