Lead mission-critical control system projects from proposal to commissioning.

Tasks

-Lead change-order strategy, risk management, and margin control. -Ensure alignment with contract scope, specifications, and Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS). -Cost Forecasting -Identify new opportunities for scope expansion or future work. -Direct controls installation and commissioning activities (Levels 1–3) in coordination with electrical/mechanical partners. -Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and trade partners. -Build and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and WIP reports. -Growth & mentorship: Lead teams, coach project engineers, and influence best practices across multiple sites. -Provide day-to-day direction for engineers and site teams, fostering a positive, high-trust culture. -Impactful leadership: Manage end-to-end delivery of automation projects that power global data-center and industrial facilities. -Deliver projects safely, on time, and under budget while maintaining strong customer relationships. -Oversee field execution quality, enforce safety standards, and support troubleshooting.

Valid driver’s license & proof of work authorization required. Fit for duty at all times. -Education: B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) or equivalent experience. -Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and committed to the team’s success. -Experience: 8–10+ years of total experience with at least 5 years managing mission-critical control or automation projects.
