Tasks

-Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment. -Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components according to project specifications. -Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to execute precise welds. -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of components before welding. -Perform welding repair and maintenance to production-related equipment, machinery, and structures. -Prepare work pieces by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal using various tools and equipment.

What You Bring

-Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Ability to fabricate and designUse of air arc equipment. -Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. -Able to read engineered blueprints. -Must be able to work under pressure. -Gas cutting and stick welding. -Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. -Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
