Tasks

-Perform photometric analyses, electrical short circuit calculations, energy code compliance checks, and building power load evaluations. -Participate in technical discussions and provide input on design solutions. -Review design documents for compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards. -Conduct site visits to observe and verify construction quality. -Assess existing electrical systems and recommend improvements or modifications. -Assist with project scheduling and coordination of tasks when necessary. -Design lighting and power distribution systems for commercial buildings. -Prepare engineering analyses, including preliminary designs, cost estimates, equipment selection, and life cycle assessments. -Write technical specifications for electrical components and systems. -Develop construction drawings and layouts using Revit and/or AutoCAD.

What You Bring

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for commercial building projects. This role involves performing independent electrical design work, conducting technical analyses, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. A strong understanding of the National Electric Code and International Energy Conservation Code is essential. -Proficient in applying the National Electric Code (NEC) and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). -Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. -EIT or PE Certification -Skilled in using AutoCAD, Revit, and related design tools. -Experience in designing and analyzing electrical systems for commercial buildings.
