Tasks

-Prepare or oversee detailed engineering analyses, schedules, technical reports, etc. -Calculate cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data and performs construction contract administration including preparation on bid documents, contracts, change orders, resolving construction field issues, and project closeout. -Prepare or direct preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project. -Meet client needs from project conception to completion. -Lead and manage activities and people on specific projects.

What You Bring

-Strong written, verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering field. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office. -Valid driver’s license with good driving record. -Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes. -Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and discipline specific software. -Excellent leadership and project management skills. -South Dakota Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months. -Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally. -Minimum of 8 years of experience in municipal engineering.
