Overview

Maintain & repair power generators and electrical equipment for customers.

Tasks

-Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment -Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs -You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and Passport -4-7 years of experience working on Cummings diesel power/natural gas generators, Mechanics or electricians and/or commercial, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs -Journeyman HET (off-Road) or Journeyman Electrician -Bilingual English and French (if you're in Montreal) -Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics -Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs. -You’ll be based out of our Brampton, ON or Montreal service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle -High School diploma/GED -14/7 days on shift Travel Techs, Personal use vehicle
