Tasks

We are looking for a General Foreman to join the Project Delivery Team based on our allocated project site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the site team through the direct supervision and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and labour hire workers on the site. -Maintain accurate daily records, progress reporting, and as-built notes. -Verify works against plans and specifications, overseeing installation tolerances for industrial slabs, pits, footings, plant plinths, and structural interfaces. -Provide clear direction to site crews and maintain positive working relationships. -Maintain material quality and secure controlled storage where required. -Schedule and manage subcontractors to ensure works are sequenced to minimise downtime and interface clashes. -Manage controls for live plant, heavy vehicle movements, lifting operations, and exclusion zones. -Manage laydown areas, service corridors, and site logistics to prevent congestion. -Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and site safety inspections. -Supervise daily activities on site, coordinating structural works (e.g. structural steel erection, precast/tilt up installation & underground services), ensuring correct sequencing of works, trades and commissioning activities. -Drive site safety culture, ensuring full compliance with WHS legislation, site-specific safety plans and high-risk work permits, responding promptly to hazards, incidents, and corrective actions. -Coordinate hold points, inspections, ITP sign-offs, and commissioning preparation.
