The Role

Overview

Conduct fire safety risk assessments for diverse properties and ensure regulatory compliance

Tasks

-Maintain CPD through self-learning and attending courses as available to ensure the level of knowledge remains current as applicable to all Fire Safety Risk Assessments. -Adhere fully to the BAFE SP205 QA System requirements as described within the Keegans SP2-5 Quality Manual and Procedures documents. -Complete Fire Safety Risk Assessments at client’s properties in line with current guidance and in accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and any recent advice notes related to Fire Risk. -Plan, manage and complete all site survey work and reporting in accordance with Keegans SP205 QA System requirements.

What You Bring

-A good knowledge of the current Fire Safety legislation and associate standards. -Extensive IT Knowledge, skills and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and Project. -Registered Assessor on a national register -Effective time and diary management -Minimum level 3 Award in Fire Risk Assessment -A good number of years experience undertaking FRAs on a wide variety of residential property types, low and high-rise, sheltered accommodation and ideally experience of commercial surveys in corporate properties and schools. -Knowledge and understanding of technical experience and practical application.
