The Role

Overview

Lead finance team to support project setup, forecasting, billing, and reporting.

Tasks

-Support on project reviews as required; report any risks identified to management -Provide effective management to engage, motivate and develop all direct reports -Drive improvements in working capital by reviewing and driving billing/cash collection -Identify continuous improvement and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team -Ensure reliable and accurate month end reporting of project performance -Train Project Managers on Oracle and support where required -Build trusted relationships with Business Directors to ensure appropriate quality and service -Advise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS -Support Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes to drive accuracy of month end reporting -Providing support to Business Partners on interpreting month end results -Comply with Arcadis Way policies and procedures

What You Bring

-Part qualified Accounting qualification or equivalent by experience -Attention to detail and consistent high standards -Ability to organize, motivate and develop a team -Good inter-personal and communication skills -Excel to a medium proficiency, experience of Oracle ERP is a plus -Relevant experience of working in a medium/large organization
