Tasks

-Oversee hydrology and hydraulic design for roadway drainage, stormwater systems, and erosion control. -Utilize MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, Open Roads Designer, and SUDA. -Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for transportation projects. -Mentor junior engineers and conduct fieldwork verification. -Design stormwater management systems, bridge and culvert hydraulics, and outfall analysis. -Manage project schedules, budgets, and client coordination.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. -10+ years of hydraulic design experience, preferably on NCDOT projects. -Knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines, FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual, and erosion control. -B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field). -Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. -P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
