The Role

Overview

Design water/wastewater infrastructure, preparing drawings and specs under supervision.

Tasks

-Communicates and coordinates technical evaluations and designs, technical writing of reports and correspondence with Project Manager and design team to complete work efficiently. -Conducts technical evaluations projects. -Provides technical and design services in support of water infrastructure projects (i.e. water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping) under direct supervision of project engineers and managers. -Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents. -Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule. -Prepares design computations and assessments.

What You Bring

-Able to complete work consistently with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands put on them by PM's. -Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations. -Masters or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering -Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record. -Engineering Intern or Engineer in Training Certification. -Multiple office locations to work from: Stick close to home or travel for a change of scenery -Strong writing and verbal skills. -Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team. -Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
