Procurement Associate

Mid-level procurement associate managing RFQs, POs, vendor relations, and order coordination.

Tasks

-Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability. -Creating POs through SAP -Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services. -Send RFQ/RFP requests -Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries. -PO Tracker updating -Prepare purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly. -Responds to relevant teams’ inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

-Limited to some knowledge of Carrier organization -Strong skills in developing and managing vendor relationship -Experience with Rate contracts -Construction or Hvac experience. / Experience in managing Subcontractors -Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management -2 - 3 years prior relevant experience
