Production Associate

Overview

Move and handle glass/materials in production, load/unload, label, inspect, ensure flow.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.) -Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product -Maintain a safe and clean work area -Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment -Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process -Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily -Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications

What You Bring

You thrive in a team setting and want the team to succeed. -Ability to lift 75 lbs without assistance -All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production -Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure -Forklift experience a plus -Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job -Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow -Must be at least 18 years old -1 year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility. -Overhead crane experience a plus -Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
