Tasks

As Hire Desk Manager, you’ll be the engine that keeps hire operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee all day-to-day hire activity, ensuring customers receive excellent service, equipment is allocated efficiently, and projects are delivered on time. -Monitor utilisation, performance, and reporting of hire fleet. -Manage all incoming hire enquiries and convert them into bookings. -Work closely with engineering and operations teams to coordinate delivery and collection of equipment. -Oversee scheduling, allocation, and logistics of generators, hybrid systems and other clean energy tech. -Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. -Develop and mentor hire desk staff as the team grows.

What You Bring

-Experience in the hire industry (plant, tool, equipment, or power hire). -Leadership skills – able to motivate and guide a team. -Customer-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building ability. -Knowledge of generators or hybrid systems is desirable but not essential. -Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
