Tasks

-Oversee and mentor the development of more junior designers and architects. -Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials. -Support the pursuit of excellence in new aviation projects. -Develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems. -In partnership with the Project Director and Project Manager, you will lead a team, or multiple teams, in the design and technical documentation and delivery of a wide range of projects.

What You Bring

-Ability to be client facing and lead client discussions, presentations, and charrettes. -Ability to lead integrated design teams of varying sizes to accomplish project delivery from concept through construction document completion and may perform construction administration. -Experience with principles of Lean Design and Construction a plus. -Revit and BIM as well as experience in Photoshop, Microsoft Office, InDesign, and software such as Rhino, SketchUp, or other visualization tools. -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Affinity with developing details and experience in construction documents. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BArch) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture + Master’s degree in Architecture with 10+ years of relevant experience in design, resolving technical issues, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Licensed Architect and NCARB Certified. -Solid knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures pertinent to aviation projects. -BA/BS plus ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
