Transmission Engineer

Tasks

-Conduct structural analysis, loading calculations, and clearance verifications. -Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases. -Ensure designs comply with industry codes, and client-specific standards. -Use industry-standard tools such as PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE/TOWER, MFAD for line design and modeling. -Collaborate with civil, environmental, permitting, real estate, survey department, control center, substation, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. -Perform detailed design and engineering for overhead transmission and sub-transmission lines, including structure and foundation design, conductor/optical ground wire hardware selection, and line routing. -Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and bill of materials.
