Senior Project Manager delivering water and environment projects using NEC contracts.

Tasks

-Manage and administer construction contracts -Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Collaborating with the QS on Payment valuations and certifying monthly payments under ECC and PSC forms of the NEC 4 form of contract -Investigate and draft contract communications and notices including Early Warning Notices, notification of Compensation Events, General Communications in line with best practice -Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies -Monitor project expenditure and manage cash flow -Evaluation of tenders -Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders -Developing a premier capability and team; -Lead the evaluation and negotiation of change orders or variations -Ensure appropriate project management records and commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues -Collaborate with contractors early in he design phase -Conduct initial project scope planning, cost estimates and feasibility studies -Preparation of tender documentation -Actual cost forecasting and Defined Cost determination in collaboration with the QS -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers;

What You Bring

-Full Membership of chartered body such APM at MAPM. -NEC3/4 Option A, Option C, Option E ECC Contract management and administration client side -Line Management and recruitment experience of Project Mangers or Assistant Project Mangers. -You must have the right to work in the UK -CDM regulation knowledge and experience. -An experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have) -Risk management experience -Valid CSCS card, with Water Hygiene Card desirable. -A wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water and/ or Environment. -Bachelor’s or master’s Degree qualification in a numeric degree -Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client side
