Overview
Assist procurement of construction materials, manage orders and supplier relationships
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Raising and processing purchase orders -Liaising with suppliers to obtain best pricing and availability -Supporting senior procurement staff with tender analysis and supplier negotiations -Working independently on smaller packages and supplier relationships as you develop -Maintaining and updating procurement records and databases -Assisting in the procurement of construction materials, plant, and equipment

What You Bring
-Background in working for either a main contractor or a specialist subcontractor preferred -Strong organisational skills and attention to detail -Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally familiar with procurement software -Confident communicator with the ability to build supplier relationships -Able to work independently and use your initiative to solve problems -Previous buying experience is essential (construction sector experience is highly desirable)
