The Role

Tasks

-Manage subcontractor and supplier invoices, payments, and change orders with precision and care. -Lead cost forecasting, track budget performance, and identify opportunities for efficiency. -Support project closeout with comprehensive financial summaries and insights. -Maintain organized, accurate financial records and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. -Partner with Project Directors, Job Cost Accountant Leads, and field teams to keep financials aligned and projects on track. -Uphold contract compliance and ensure all project costs meet client and lender requirements. -Prepare and submit monthly owner billings, ensuring timely payments and smooth communication. -Oversee the financial health of multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

What You Bring

-Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills to keep projects on track. -Solid understanding of accounting and cost management principles, especially in project-based environments. -Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Sage Timberline or similar systems is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience (minimum of four years in a similar role). -Self-driven, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. -Excellent communicator who builds positive relationships across teams. -Prior experience in the construction industry preferred.
