Overview

Originate and manage commercial real estate debt investments for multifamily and industrial.

Tasks

-Source, underwrite and analyze credit and financial information to determine investment suitability and credit worthiness -Communicate loan decisions, terms, and conditions both internally and to investors and ensure loan documentation is in compliance with company policies and procedures -Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and provide creative financing solutions -Provide first class customer service and build long-term relationships with borrowers and counterparties -subordinate “gap” financing (mezz or pref) behind agency first mortgages -Prepare loan proposals, presentations, and credit memos for loan and investment committees -Bridge loans with business plan execution -Manage a loan portfolio and maintain relationships with borrower/clients -Manage junior resources in the origination function.

What You Bring

-Ability to evaluate and analyze complex financial statements and tax returns -At least 8 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or related field -Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with borrowers and counterparties -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Knowledge of regulatory compliance and lending policies and procedures -Strong understanding of credit and financial analysis -Experience with loan documentation and credit underwriting -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines -Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
