The Role
Overview
Supervise and coordinate property maintenance, projects, and vendor/ staff activities.

Tasks
-Ordering supplies for inventory -Scheduling projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner -Communicating with vendors and staff to resolve any issues -Managing large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors and sub-contractors, and reviewing completed work

What You Bring
-Experience with Yardi -Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite. -Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects -The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them -Proven time management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals -Working knowledge of the following: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal -The ability to understand and work within a budget -Pool certification preferred -HVAC and EPA Certification -Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry. -Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels. -The ability to create a team-centered environment and lead that team effectively -The ability to take direction from leadership and follow through on the directive
