Tasks
-Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met -Effectively represent the Company on employment law, Worker’s Compensation, and unemployment matters. -Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to build a strong partnership between management and employees -Deploy, coach to and provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans business unit restructuring and optimal organizational structure -Drive timely update meetings to check in with each business unit -Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary -Interpret human resources policy to employees and managers to drive to a best outcome. -Identify training needs and partner with the training team and leadership to deploy professional development curriculums that grow and retain our talent -Leverage our HRIS system as a single source of employee data truth and create/analyze reports that can be used to make business decisions. -Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions an drive action -Define and create documentation for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with managers. -Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department and other functions to, develop policies, programs, and solutions -Ensure all locations are provided with access to all necessary state and federal employment law posters. -Create and communicate presentations to the business and the HR Team that enable learning, drive the progress of the organization and deliver on our strategy. -Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with legal counsel when necessary -Assess and anticipate human resources-related needs. -Stay current on state and federal employment laws and communicate pertinent information to the Human Resource team and other management. -Consult regularly with management and team members and provide coaching, support and guidance where needed -Continually evaluate policies, procedures and processes for opportunities of improvement and suggest new strategies -Partner with the business leaders to build the culture, plans, and success measures that make us best in class and a best place to work

What You Bring
-Must have ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines. -Employment law knowledge and successful demonstrated experience Human Resources generalist work experience is required. -Ability to travel to branches and company training which will require occasional overnight stays. -Experience with recruiting, employee relations, and training and development is preferred. -Valid Driver's License. Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time. -Associates degree in HR, Labor Relations, Training and Development, Business or related field and two or more years of related experience and/or training. -Current, knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws -Individual must possess strong, comprehensive PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook products) and have an aptitude with new software and systems. -Occasionally the ability to walk and stand is needed. Often reaching with hands/arms is necessary. Most of the time sitting, use of fingers/hands to feel, and talking or hearing needed.

Benefits
-Eligibility for company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short-term disability, long-term care, and Employee Assistance Program, subject to applicable waiting periods. -Eligibility for health, and dental, vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms. -Other benefits for which you may be eligible includes supplemental life insurance, hospital indemnity, and accident and critical illness benefits with cancer coverage. -The expected rate of pay for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. -Company-paid holidays. -Eligibility: Employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Employees who are 21 years of age or older will be automatically enrolled in the company’s 401(k) plan once they achieve 90 days of employment. -Excused Absence time off and Paid Time Off (PTO).
