The Role
Overview
Support heavy civil construction projects through planning, estimating, and field coordination.

Tasks
-Generate billing quantities from information provided by field personnel and contractual requirements. -Provide clear step-by-step directions and answer questions while organizing the project. -Perform solicitations to Vendors and Subcontractors. -complete any part of the application process -Perform submittals to agencies as required for construction of project. -Communicate roll out of projects with Project Manager, Superintendent and field personnel. -Transfer of information from estimating software to job cost software. -Work on project site to observe progression. -Communicate with Project Manager and Superintendent on a regular basis to ensure project issues and concerns are addressed. -Perform quantity takeoffs. -Review and analyze job cost information â verify accurate and complete, address and or correct as necessary. -access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Perform safety requirements and ensure that risks are mitigated.

What You Bring
-Must be able to use arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions. -Read and understand plans and specifications. -Good Communication skills and ability to work well with others in a Team environment. -Current, valid Driver's License (required) along with a driving record that meets company safety guidelines to operate a company vehicle (required). -Must withstand vibration from job site conditions as well as noise from other equipment. -Able to generate change orders for the project using estimating software. -BS Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering (or related field of study). -Willingness to work nights and weekends if required. -Must be able to climb onto and up and down several times a day. -Must be able to pass a DOT Physical for a DOT Medical card (required). -Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the companyâs policies. -Hard hat (provided) Safety vest (provided) Safety glasses (provided) Steel-toed safety shoes
