Tasks
-Drive to client sites across the GTA as required to provide support (company vehicle provided). -Collaborate with the broader IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues. -Configure and troubleshoot VPN connections and remote access tools. -Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, laptops, and mobile devices. -Troubleshoot connectivity and network access issues for end users. -Support Office 365 applications, printers, and peripheral devices. -Provide on-site and remote desktop support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. -Handle and resolve support tickets through the company’s ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent) while ensuring timely updates and closure. -Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets. -Manage user accounts, permissions, through Active Directory and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support to users both on-site and at client locations across the GTA. -Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. -Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. -Experience with VPN setup, remote desktop tools, and Active Directory integration with MS office 365. -Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, imaging, and deployment tools. -Valid G-class driver’s license and reliable transportation required. -2+ years of experience in a desktop or technical support role. -CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent technical certification) preferred.
