Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Effectively utilizes the right data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking -Monitors results of new processes, trouble-shoots failures and issues, and presents solutions to unsolicited problems -Reviews all project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial risks and opportunities -Creates an inviting workplace that motivates and challenges each team member to achieve career goals and strive for opportunities -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Manages the division of responsibilities and communication between various project & home office departments -Analyzes and effectively communicates financial results of the project to upper level management -Understands the needs of the organization, aims to bring in high quality talent, and continually develops team members through critical conversations and performance reviews

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Strong working knowledge of accounting including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax -Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills -Recognizes when and who to escalate specific conversations/issues -Proven track record of successfully developing or managing a team preferred -High level of professionalism and standards -Financial or accounting experience in construction or engineering industry preferred -Managerial experience -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree is require -7+ years of financial/data analysis experience -Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills -Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel -Regular, reliable attendance -Understands, substantiates, and reconciles all financial reports monthly and annually -CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience preferred -Knowledge of or familiarity with principal field business management systems: SAP, CMIS, PMIS and Prolog (P.O. and A/P) preferred -Understands financial reporting - including the upstream effects of reporting to other areas of the organization -Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities -Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
