Tasks
-Water Resources Collaboration: Work closely with our water resources team on various projects. -Roadway/Bridge, Rail, Aviation, and Civil Site Design: Engage in comprehensive design projects across these sectors. -Business Development: Collaborate with the team to identify new opportunities, produce proposals, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our Alaska business. -Project Delivery Oversight: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from design development to bid-ready plans, and provide support during construction as needed. -Team Leadership: Lead multi-discipline project teams to meet established schedules and quality standards. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff. -Project Management: Develop and maintain scope, schedule, and budgets for diverse civil projects, including highways, aviation, bridges, and rail. -Oil & Gas Pipeline and Facility Design: Provide support for the design and development of oil and gas infrastructure. -Environmental, Planning, and Public Involvement Services: Participate in environmental assessments, planning initiatives, and public engagement activities. -Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead civil engineer on design projects, guiding design calculations, modeling, and overall project direction. Act as a technical resource for our Alaska offices and nationally, ensuring quality control processes are followed.

What You Bring
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Established client relationships, with a willingness to build new relationships and lead proposal efforts. -Experience with Design/Build or other alternative project delivery methods is advantageous. -Licensed Professional Engineer in Alaska. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively in diverse teams. -Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Blue Beam. Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS web and desktop applications is a plus. -Over 10 years of technical design experience and project management of civil projects, including the development of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Additionally, 5+ years of supervisory experience leading technical teams in similar work.
