Tasks

-Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an engagement. -Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical architecture and integration plans. -Define and lead the architectural strategy for Asset Performance -Lead business development efforts for Black & Veatch’s Asset Management Systems APM offerings for Electric, Gas, Water, Wastewater & Local Government Clients. -Establish best practices for configuration, customization, and data governance. -Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans. -Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards. -Delegate and manage work to assigned team members. -Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Asset Performance -Guide development teams in implementing architectural standards and frameworks. -Collaborate with Black & Veatch Teams to create new offerings. -Oversee system integrations with Asset Performance Management solutions and third-party platforms. -Use personal network to identify potential clients for Black & Veatch’s Asset Management Systems offerings. -Manage Asset Performance Management projects and engagements. -Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement. -Evaluate emerging technologies applicable to Asset Performance Management -Enhance established working relationships with team members and management from within the client’s organization. -Assist Black & Veatch in enhancing existing offerings. -Contribute to engagement quality reviews.

What You Bring

-Experience with the architecture and functional capabilities of …. solutions -Industry knowledge in Generation, Transmission, Distribution across electric, gas and water utilities -Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience -Ability to articulate the business case for the implementation of Black & Veatch’s Asset Management Systems APM offerings for Electric, Gas, Water, Wastewater & Local Government Clients -Background in utilities or public sector implementations. -8+ years of experience with Asset Performance Management -Management with applications such as ABB, GE Vernova, IBM Maximo and DNV Cascade -Travel up to 50% -Has managed significant engagements -10+ years in a business/consulting environment -Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Experience providing advisory services in the functional areas of Asset Management and Asset Performance Management -Ability to communicate across organizational boundaries and organizational levels. -Strong understanding of asset management systems and cloud infrastructure. -Knowledge of the principles of Asset Management. -5+ years of experience with one of more APM solutions such as ABB, GE Vernova, IBM Maximo and DNV Cascade.
