The Role
Overview
Direct traffic around construction sites using signs, cones and hand signals.

Tasks
-Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic. -Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. -Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios. -Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest). -Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles. -Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. -Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams while delivering the highest level of customer service. -Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites. -Operate 2-way radio.

What You Bring
-Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. -Successfully complete the ATSSA Flagger training course and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training. -Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings. -Valid Driver’s License. -Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements. -Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects. -Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds. -Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule. -Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. -Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day. -Must pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check. -Work well in a team environment. -Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
