Tasks
-Responsible to manage shift manpower needs to maintain productivity, quality control and meet shift requirements. -Maintain the HTMR process as designed/planned whenever possible. -Responsible for Shift workers to perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable -Operate equipment, machinery and accessories through process control systems -To make decisions quickly and decisively during periods of high activity. -Ensure that environmental policies and procedures are understood, and issues/incidents are investigated and addressed promptly. -Prioritizes and reports deficiencies of all equipment including data collection and communication systems and conduct follow-up as required. -Monitor, control, and record all activities of the process. -Communicate and assist collecting samples and work closely with quality control -Report on the team’s shift activities and observations, safety meetings and production level. -Operate, troubleshoot and authorize and direct the safe and reliable operation of the HTMR process under normal and abnormal conditions on a 24/7 basis. -Data review and analysis of production, reporting results to Production Team -Ensure all safety concerns and accidents are investigated promptly. -Assist in establishing all production related goals, objectives, and targets. -Conduct inspection rounds to ensure that the equipment is working properly.

What You Bring
-Required ability to perform alone or as part of a team with no direct supervision. -3-Year College Diploma in a mechanical/electrical discipline or equivalent -Good written and verbal communication skills to deal with co-workers and other authorities -Proficient in computerized control panel/Human Machine Interface (HMI) and personal computer applications including Microsoft Office software a benefit. -Proficient in maintaining operational logs, writing simple reports including deficiency and follow-up -Chemical process knowledge an asset -Operation is a 24/7 basis shift structure. Ability to support on nights and weekends, -Requires a minimum of 5-10 years of related operating experience -You must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team environment -Required ability to read, interpret and utilize technical prints and schematics -Valid class G driver’s license -You must be able to communicate in English both verbally and electronically
