The Role

Overview

Warehouse and delivery driver providing customer service, order handling, and safe deliveries.

Tasks

-Complete daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections. -Assist in cycle count/inventory management responsibilities. -Unload customer deliveries at customer premises. -Keep vehicle clean and practices good housekeeping. -Obtain and maintain power equipment certifications (forklift, pallet jack, side loader, etc). -Completes assigned training as required. -Drive company vehicle (26-foot box truck) for deliveries to customers. -Provide amazing customer service while helping customers (delivery/will call orders). -Load and unload products in a safe and efficient manner using the necessary tools, equipment, and skills, lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Will involve lifting and moving heavy loads. -Maintain a clean, safe work environment, always! -Collect payment from customers for delivered products when required. -Pull orders for customer pick up and assist customers with loading product as required.

What You Bring

-Demonstrates a "Customer First" mentality. -Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems like Epicor). -Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a medical card as per the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. -Great judgment and decision-making skills to properly handle products efficiently for safe, damage-free deliveries. -Demonstrated abilities/skills in problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution. -Amazing customer service skills. -High school diploma or its equivalent. -Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 100 lbs. -Professional telephone and email skills/communication. -Proactive and takes initiative with the ability to multi-task. -A mandatory drug test must be passed to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
